Events for suppliers 2025
On 20 November 2025, during the Offshore Wind Poland 2025 conference, we organized the 'ORLEN Neptun Workshop – OSS Package for the Baltic East project', addressed to potential participants of the supply chain for the Offshore Substation (OSS) package in the Baltic East project.
It was a unique opportunity to:
- Learn more about the project, with a specific focus on the OSS package
- Continue direct dialogue with Polish suppliers
- Identify potential partnerships and opportunities for cooperation
The workshop 'From Listening to Action – Entry Barriers through the Supplier’s Eyes' took place on 12 June 2025 during the PSEW2025 conference in Świnoujście.
The discussion, moderated by ORLEN Neptun, created a space for:
- exchanging supplier experiences,
- identifying barriers,
- jointly exploring possible solutions.
Over 300 participants from around 100 companies took part in the first Supplier Day for the Baltic East project. Held on 16 April 2025, the event began with a debate focused on building an optimal supply‑chain structure for Phase II offshore wind projects.
During the debate, several recommendations were formulated for companies interested in joining the offshore wind supply chain:
- Understanding the supply chain and the roles of its individual participants
- Gaining the necessary experience and know‑how through partnerships with main suppliers
- The need for bottom‑up collaboration within the supply chain, including forming consortia, to respond more effectively to developers’ procurement processes
- Awareness of the quality, safety and financial requirements placed on subcontractors
- Confirming the required qualifications through appropriate certifications
In the second part of the event, the status of the Baltic East project was presented, along with an overview of procurement processes, requirements and contracting scopes for the main components of the wind farm.
The webinar dedicated to suppliers interested in providing services and products for ORLEN Neptun’s offshore wind projects took place on 28 February 2025.
During the meeting, the purchasing criteria and procedures used in the offshore wind sector were presented, along with information about the ORLEN Group’s Connect procurement platform.
