ORLEN Neptun is responsible for the development of offshore wind energy at the ORLEN Group. In May 2023, the company received top marks from the Ministry of Infrastructure for five concession applications for the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of 5.2 GW.
The implementation of offshore wind projects relies on the cooperation of many specialised entities and a well‑planned supply chain that ensures continuity and high standards of operations. ORLEN Neptun is building a stable network of partners supporting the development of offshore wind.
The ORLEN Group obtained the final decision of the Minister of Infrastructure to allocate five new locations for the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of approximately 5.2 GW.
On the 10th of June 2025 the first offshore wind terminal in Poland and one of the most modern in Europe was offcially launched in the port of Świnoujście.
