ORLEN Neptun is responsible for the development of offshore wind energy at the ORLEN Group. In May 2023, the company received top marks from the Ministry of Infrastructure for five concession applications for the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of 5.2 GW.
The ORLEN Group's ambition is to ensure that the 'local content', i.e. the share of Polish entrepreneurs in the supply chain in offshore projects, is as high as possible.

At the end of the first half of 2025 the first offshore wind terminal in Poland and one of the most modern in Europe will be launched in the port of Świnoujście.
