President of the Management Board

A leader and one of the pioneers of offshore wind energy in Poland, with over 14 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects across international markets. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology.

She has been involved in the offshore wind sector since 2012. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the development of offshore wind projects across Europe, the United States, and Asia, working for international organizations including Germany’s Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) and Denmark’s Ramboll.

She has worked within large international teams and complex project environments, combining technical, commercial, and strategic perspectives. Her experience spans both bottom-fixed offshore wind farms and floating offshore wind projects.

Over the course of her career, she has been responsible for project development from the early-stage phase through auction processes and permitting activities to final investment decision. She has held roles covering project management, business development, and project portfolio development.

In her professional work, she focuses on delivering results in complex environments, building high-performing teams, and creating long-term value for local communities and stakeholders.

Member of the Management Board 

A seasoned manager with extensive experience in the energy sector and the delivery of large-scale investment projects. For over a decade, he has been actively involved in offshore wind, including the development of Baltic Power - Poland’s first offshore wind farm and a joint venture between ORLEN and Canada’s Northland Power.

He is a graduate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and Gdańsk University of Technology. He began his career in the energy sector in 2013 within the ORLEN Group, where he held a number of expert and managerial roles covering investment procurement (CAPEX), contract management, and energy project development.

He later played a key role in the Baltic Power project, taking responsibility for contract management, project execution, and coordination across the investment delivery phase. Between 2021 and 2023, as Deputy EPCI Director, he was responsible for managing key contracts and ensuring the integration of engineering, procurement, construction, and T&I scopes. He subsequently served as Deputy Project Director, overseeing critical stages of project execution. He currently serves as Project Director and Member of the Management Board at Baltic Power.

Since 2024, he has been associated with ORLEN Neptun, where he initially led the offshore wind project development area before taking on the role of Project Portfolio Director.

Chief Financial Officer, Member of the Management Board 

Joanna Sasak is an accomplished finance executive with over 20 years of experience across strategic sectors including energy, fuels, aviation, and telecommunications. She brings 13 years of extensive expertise in the energy industry. During her time at the RWE Group (2003–2012), she held various senior positions, including in investment management, asset management, and energy and gas procurement. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Management Board Member at AXPO Polska, a subsidiary of the Swiss-based AXPO Group, where she oversaw finance, corporate control, tax, treasury, and internal audit functions. Previously, she was Vice President of the Management Board of Orlen Aviation from 2013 to 2018, where she was responsible for the comprehensive financial management of this ORLEN Group subsidiary.

She holds an International MBA and multiple degrees in finance, management, psychology, and business leadership, earned at prestigious institutions including St. Gallen Business School in Switzerland, Kraków University of Economics, the University of Warsaw, and Warsaw University of Technology.
